Giant Beetles
Apparently there are these giant beetles here that the guys call an 'oilsands beetle'. I do not know that this is the correct term for them, but they are huge. We found one on the job today, and I am told that this one is small.
That's just a water beetle. The "tar sands beetle" that you need to look out for is called a spotted sawyer. They have very long thin antenna and when they bit it feels like getting hit by 5 wasps at once.
